The Lupus Foundation of America creates professional education opportunities in support of its mission to be a valuable resource to health care professionals and deliver state-of-the-science programs. Here you can find evidence-based learning opportunities created for various members of the care team on specific topics like diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, and pathogenesis.  

Continuing education on

Lupus:Deciphering the Clues was created by the Lupus Foundation of America and accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The course provides an overview of lupus diagnosis and treatments for nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. The goal is to increase awareness among health care professionals for lupus so it is recognized and treated earlier, and to educate the healthcare community on the up-to-date treatment options available for people with lupus.

Continuing education provided by the Lupus Initiative

The Lupus Initiative is a national program of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) dedicated to reducing health disparities in lupus. There are eight available courses for physicians and other health professionals, ranging from 0.5 to 10 credits.
